Position Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Stepdown Unit

Location: Rome, NY

Contract ID: 030713

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Position Overview:

We are actively seeking experienced Med Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurses to join a fast-paced Stepdown Unit in Rome, NY. This is a great opportunity for a travel nurse looking to take on an urgent, high-paying contract at a respected facility.

Requirements:

  • Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification)
  • BLS (AHA) – Required
  • ACLS (AHA) – Required
  • NIH Stroke Certification – Must be completed prior to start
  • Minimum 2 years of current MS/Tele experience
  • Travel experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable floating to Med Surg
  • Must have strong IV skills, be confident with cardiac drips, reading EKG strips, and wound care
  • Every other weekend & holiday shifts required
  • Additional 8 CEUs required during facility orientation
